Lowell SuperSpeedway Unsafe?Tim Baltazar reported on NORA Roundtable that NORA Officials were discussing about Lowell Superspeedway being unsafe. The 1.33 Mile, 35 degree banked Stadium like track has fast speeds and steep transitions from apron to racetrack. Many horrific crashes were witnessed in the NORA Weekend for the Red Devil Dash, the season ending All-Star race for the Regional Series(Red bull East&West, Allstate North/South),Red Devil 150 for the TVTS, Red Devil 200 for the NAS, and the Red Devil 250 for the Cup Series. The Concrete Surface also Eats Tires, as Doug Gowan blew one on the first lap, couldn't slow for the transition, spun, and Danielle Vaughn crashed head-on into him. No injuries were reported with the drivers but the catch-fence was almost destroyed around the track.(NRN PR, 5-14-09)

Avalos to be sacked from 81 car, JCR gets #81? After nearly winning the 2nd race of the Rockstar Winter Exhibition, RRS Rookie Bruce Avalos might be sacked from the #81 car, in a lack of
